左紅豔，女，副教授(工學博士/博士後)。主要從事能源動力設備安全科學與工程領域研究工作。先後參與或主持國家自然科學基金面上項目、湖南省自然科學基金面上項目、湖南省社會科學基金項目和湖南省高校創新平台開放基金項目等8項國家級和省部級科研項目。第1作者或通訊作者在《Renewable Energy》、《Energy Conversion and Management》、《Solar Energy》、《Wind Energy》、《Fuel》、《Mathematical Problems in Engineering》和《Journal of Central South University》等期刊發表SCI收錄論文10篇，出版學術專著3部，獲湖南省科技進步三等獎項和中南大學優秀博士學位論文獎項。兼任《Renewable Energy》、《Energy Conversion and Management》、《Journal of Cleaner Production》和《Journal of Central South University》等國内外10多個期刊審稿專家。
